Founded in 1978, Father Lacombe High School is located in Calgary which is the largest city in the province of Alberta nestled in the Foothills of Canada’s Rocky Mountains and has many beautiful parks and rivers.

Father Lacombe offers Alberta’s curriculum which is designed to help students achieve their individual potential and create a positive future for themselves, their families, and their communities. Students will have general academic choices in English, Science, Social Studies, and Mathematics. The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is also available. IB program is a successful and well-developed program aimed at students who would like to further their studies in one or more academic areas. This program is widely recognized by the world’s leading universities and offers students many advantages including preferential post-secondary admission, university credit and awards, and the development of many important life skills.

Athletics:

Father Lacombe students learn important social and life skills when they are part of a group. Goal setting, time management, and coping with different types of stress associated with competition are just a few of the skills learned. Teams include Badminton, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Cross Country, Football, Rugby, Swimming, Track & Field, and Wrestling.
