Denmark Student Visa Information

University/College Application Process:
To apply to a Danish college/university, you first need to visit the website http://www.optaglese.dk , where you will find the official websites of various Danish colleges/universities and apply from there.
If you are selected, they will give you a conditional admission letter. After receiving the conditional letter, you will be sent the tuition fee to the address of the institution which will issue the final admission letter only, with the ST1 form attached. ST1 form will contain information about you (student) and the college.
University Application Requirements:
- Minimum IELTS score 6.5 bands 2. Minimum 50% Marks in Academic Examination 3. At least HSC Complete (for applying to US BSc) 4. At least 1 year of university study (for applying to Bachelor Degree) 5. At least 2 years of University study (for AP Degree application) 6. At least 3 years of University study (for Top up Bachelor Degree application) 7. At least 3 years of University study (for Pre master's Degree application) 8. At least 4 years University studies (for Master's Degree application)
What you will need while applying to the university:
- Passport copy (may be required by the university) 2. All academic transcripts and certificates 3. IELTS certificate 4. Motivation letter 5. CV 6. Recommendation letter (if desired)
Application Deadline:
Generally, the application deadline for Non-EU students is January 15, 2023 for Autumn 2023 (September Intake), March 01, 2023 for Master's degree program in Autumn 2023 for EU/EEA students, April 01, 2023 for UCPH International Summer Program in summer 2023, May 01, 2023 Semester program in autumn 2023, And the classes start from September 01. However, application deadlines vary by course and level.
Tuition Fees:
Tuition fees at Danish Universities or Colleges usually range from 6000 EUR to 17000 EUR. This varies by University and Subject.

Visa-Related Information:
We use to apply for visa in 2 ways. One is Online and another by direct visiting VFS Gulshan, Dhaka.
Documents Required for Visa:
- Valid Passport 2. Academic Documents 3. IELTS Certificate 4. Tuition Fees Payment Document 5. University/College Admission Letter 6. Filled ST1 Form Danish visa process takes 1-2 months. So, need to start the processing a little earlier.
Note: No bank solvency or statement and no sponsorship is required to apply for a student visa in Denmark.
Health Insurance:
With Danish health insurance, you can get any treatment (except dental) at a hospital or with a personal doctor. Almost all European countries have this rule.
Accommodation:
Danish Universities arrange seats in hostels for foreign students. If not found then you have to search privately (home). Kollegium is the cheapest place to stay. We are providing a rough idea of the rent per month: Hostel Rent (Kollegium): 240 – 400 Euros Family House Rent: 300-600 Euros Flat Share: Depending on the flat and number of members.

Part-Time Job Information:
Permit to work 20 hours a week. Besides, you can do full-time during the summer holidays (June, July, August). Note – Tuition fees are very high in Denmark. So, it is difficult to say that you can manage living costs and tuition fees by working a part-time job. Spouse: If you want to apply for your wife or husband, you need to keep 71292 Danish Krone in your online bank account.

Permanent Residency and Establishment Card Information:
You have to stay for 8 years continuously and after 3.5 years of a full-time job in the last 4 years, you can apply for permanent residence.
You can get an Establishment Card after completing a Danish Master's or PhD degree. Through this Establishment Card, you can do a Full-time Job or Business for 2 years.
